A pair of Downriver League girls hoops team played their first of two scheduled meetings this season — both of which take place in the span of nine days — when Taylor traveled to Southgate Anderson on Thursday.
The matchup is the rescheduling of a game that was originally to be played back in December a week before Christmas.Both teams came into Thursday looking to find any sort of positive momentum with each only having earned three wins on the season. Both were also looking to snap losing skids as of late as well.
With their most points in a game since their last win on Jan 13, the visiting Griffins broke their five-game losing streak by eking out a 35-30 win, handing the hometown Titans their third straight loss overall.
