Back on Dec 9, the Brownstown Woodhaven and Trenton girls basketball teams tipped off the new season against each other.On Tuesday, the two longtime local and Downriver League rivals held their second scheduled meeting of the season at Woodhaven High School.
Since that season opener, both teams have become two of the better ones in the Downriver area as a whole, coming into the rematch with a combined 18 wins on the year.Similar to that first go-round, Tuesday was another defense-first low-scoring battle. It was also another win for the Warriors of Woodhaven, who improved to 9-0 in DRL play with a 34-16 win over the visiting Trojans of Trenton.
