Two Huron League girls basketball teams looking to continue their respective recent winning ways clashed Monday night when Riverview made its way over to New Boston Huron.

No local team, if any, is on a hotter run right now than Riverview, who came in winners of six straight games overall after dropping their season opener. Huron meanwhile was looking to extend their modest three-game win streak and make it five wins through the first seven games overall.

Unfortunately for the host Chiefs, that opportunity came to a screeching halt as the visiting Pirates from Riverview put together another strong effort, cruising to a 70-48 road win.
