A couple of local and conference rivals played their respective first game in over a week on Tuesday night when Flat Rock visited Grosse Ile for a Huron League boys hoops matchup.

Flat Rock came in looking to rebound from a 64-50 loss vs Walled Lake Western in a holiday showcase game back on Dec 28. A day prior to that was the last date of competition for Grosse Ile, who was looking to make it three wins in a row overall.

A good back-and-forth battle throughout eventually saw the host Red Devils from the island use a big forth quarter to pull away for a 50-43 win over the visiting Rams from Flat Rock.
