Daniel Patrick Meehan, 64, of Waterford, MI passed away on January 25, 2026. Born on January 6, 1962 in Dearborn, MI to Donald Sr. and Carmella Meehan. The seventh of their eight children. He was a devoted husband of 42 years to Mary and a loving father to Anthony, Danielle, Samantha and Marissa. Dan was hard-working and dedicated. He spent 33 years working as an estimator for Valiant International. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his friends. Though Dan may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of integrity, kindness, generosity, and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He is survived by his wife Mary, children Anthony, Danielle, Samantha and Marissa, 6 grandchildren, Kiley, Chloe, Liam, Cadin, Alivia and Cason; siblings Donna Mersberg, Beth Farkas, Mary Hutter (Paul), Susan Powers (Jesse), Teresa Smith (Duane), and Anita Harris (Todd) as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly. Dan was preceded in death by his parents Donald Sr. and Carmella Meehan, as well his brother Donald Jr. Meehan.
