Devoted husband. Father, Brother and legendary athelete passed away December 15th, 2025 at the age of 85. Born March 1940 to Leo and Alvira (Lefty Federico) Carollo in Wyandotte, Michigan. Joe was a shining star from the start. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and went on to play football at the University of Notre Dame on a full scholarship. His athletic prowess earned him a second round draft pick to the Los Angeles Rams. Joe’s career spanned 13 years in the NFL and was recently inducted into the All Ram Team. Joe was also honored by his home town being inducted into the Wyandotte Hall of Fame. He will be deeply missed by his loving family including his wife Kandace, son Joseph, his two daughters Anne Marie and Elizabeth. 6 grandchildren and his sisters Vita, Rosemary and Victoria. Rest in peace our beloved Joe. Forever in our hearts
