The Trenton Rotary Club just wants kids to have fun.
The club is inviting them to Super Kids Day Saturday, Jan. 30 to play games, do craft projects, have their faces painted, enjoy a hot dog lunch and more.
The free event will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Westfield Activities Center, 2700 Westfield Road. No registration is necessary. The event is best suited for children ages 2-11. Kids are invited to dress up as superheroes or princesses.
“It’s really designed to give them a day that they can just have fun,” said Rotary President Ronnie Ruelle. “It’s really about bringing the community together.”

The club is asking participants to donate a box of cereal for the food pantry at St. Philip’s Lutheran Church in Trenton.
A number of community organizations and businesses assist the Rotary in putting on the event, which is in its second year.
