No suspects have been identified in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie<\/a>, the mother of \u201cToday\u201d anchor Savannah Guthrie, since she went missing from her home in Tucson, Ariz., early Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

Nancy, 84, was last seen alive<\/a> the night before by her daughter Annie. Her family said she was \u201csharp as a tack\u201d and had no cognitive impairments.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have nothing else to go on but the belief that she is here<\/a>,\u201d Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said in an interview that aired Wednesday on \u201cToday.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s present. She\u2019s alive, and we want to save her,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Police have asked for any leads that might help them locate Guthrie<\/a>, such as alleged ransom notes<\/a> that were sent to three media outlets, including TMZ.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen the note comes to us, it\u2019s like any piece of evidence,<\/a>\u201d Nanos told CBS News. \u201cYou give it to us. You give us a lead. We\u2019re going to look at every aspect of that lead and work it as a lead.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cops have not confirmed the legitimacy of the ransom notes. The one sent to TMZ demanded millions in Bitcoin<\/a>, and the outlet reported the Bitcoin address was real.<\/p>\n
